By Sea

The ancient port of Harwich (www.harwich.co.uk) in Essex has a regular succession of liners and ferries cruising into its modern terminal.

Stena Line has day and overnight crossings aboard a traditional ferry to The Netherlands (six hours 15 minutes) with cabin accommodation available. DFDS Seaways has modern ships sailing from Denmark (22 hours). Enjoy restaurants, bars, cinemas and entertainment
as you relax onboard.

From Harwich, you can drive straight off into the East of England. Of course, if you prefer the short sea crossings from Calais (France) to Dover, or the Channel Tunnel, then its an easy drive up to the East of England via the M20 or A2/M2, the M25, and the A12 or M11.
