Bookings
The booking service available on this web site allows you to submit booking requests. When you submit a booking, we will pass your name, contact details, on-line credit card details and accommodation requirements to the supplier. Your booking will not be confirmed until the applicable supplier confirms that the booking request has been accepted.
No contract is made between you and East of England Tourism. In respect of any booking, the supplier of the accommodation may provide its own booking terms and conditions, which you should check carefully. You should also confirm the price for accommodation with the proprietor, and confirm any additional costs and expenses, including VAT that may be payable. Acceptance of bookings is entirely at the discretion of the supplier - and East of England Tourism accepts no liability for any failture by a supplier to receive or accept a booking. If you fail to take up accommodation that you have booked, the proprietor may charge you a cancellation fee or retain any deposit that you have given.
East of England Tourism accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage suffered by any visitor to any of the properties or attractions listed on this web site arising out of any booking.
Financial Details
If you make an online booking using this web site, you will be required to input payment details, including the details of your credit or debit card. This information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Statement, and will be encrypted and passed onto the proprietor of the accommodation that you request in your booking form. The proprietor shall be entitled to deduct any sums due under any contract you enter into with the proprietor, using these credit or debit card details.
You should note that notwithstanding that you have inputted financial details in your booking form, you may not be able to pay for accommodation by credit or debit card. When the booking is confirmed by the accommodation provider, a deposit may be payable with the balance due at the time of your stay.

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. These Terms and Conditions, together with any rules specific to a competition, apply to all competitions on the www.visiteastofengland.com and www.eet.org.uk web sites, unless otherwise expressly stated. By entering a competition, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
2. The competition is organised by East of England Tourism (EET), Dettingen House, Dettingen Way, Bury St. Edmunds,
Suffolk IP33 3TU
3. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a competition, the decision of EET shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
4. To qualify to enter the competition you must be resident in the United Kingdom. The address you provide with your competition entry will be used to send any prizes, so please make sure this is correct.
5. Employees of EET, its members, partners or any company involved in the competition, or members of their families or households, are not eligible to enter the competition.
6. EET reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached
any of the rules.
7. Only one entry per person per competition is allowed (except where otherwise stated) and any entrant who enters more than the permitted maximum will have any additional entries discounted.
8. There is no purchase requirement to enter a competition, and there is no charge to register for use of the web site.
9. Proof of entry, is not proof of receipt.
10. Entrants should note that unless stated otherwise, EET does not accept responsibility for the return of any entries, including those consisting of artistic or other material.
11. Prize winners will be chosen at random unless specified otherwise, from all qualifying entries within 7 days of the competition closing date. Tie-breakers will be judged by EET and, if required by law, by an independent adjudicator. If EET is unable to make contact with any prize winners, via email or telephone communication, within a period of 1 calender month from the point of first contact, we reserve the right to redraw the winner.
12. Competition winner(s)' names may be published on the web site, or you can write to Competition Prize Winners, East of England Tourism, Dettingen House, Dettingen Way, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 3TU - naming the specific competition. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for a list of winners.
13. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. EET reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal
or greater value at any time.
14. All prizes are awarded at EET's discretion.
15. All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses upgrades, etc) as the case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
16. EET does not, unless we agree this with you, claim any rights of ownership in your entry. As such, you retain ownership of your entry, although EET will be able to use or reproduce entries as we choose fit, without compensation.
17. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity, and EET reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners/photographs of them in any publicity.
18. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. Please see EET's Privacy Policy and Statement for further details.
19. The competition and rules will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
